Thermal Effusivity to Simulate and Measure Cool Feel Flooring

Overview

The measurement of warm touch and cool feel, referred to as thermal effusivity, can be used to compare synthetic materials to their authentic counterparts. As manufacturing synthetic and composite materials have become increasingly popular, the need for materials that look and feel like the authentic material has also grown. In this webinar, we compare various types of laminate flooring to authentic hardwood, qualitatively comparing the results attained using our Thermal Effusivity Meter (TPS-EFF).
