Press Release: New Webinar on Thermal Conductivity and Resistivity of Soil and Concrete using Transient Line Source

Thermal Conductivity of Soil and Concrete using the Transient Line Source Technique Webinar

Europe, Release: June 22, 2020. Thermtest will be hosting a free webinar on the 7th of July, 2020, called Thermal Conductivity and Resistivity of Soil and Concrete using the Transient Line Source Technique.

This webinar will reveal important information about the benefits of using the Transient Line Source (TLS) method for the thermal conductivity and thermal resistivity of soils and concretes.

The transient line source (TLS) is an ideal and standardized method for testing materials in-situ and in the lab. Thermtest’s TLS-100 is an easy-to-use and affordable instrument used for testing soil, rocks, concrete, and polymers.

The webinar will be presented by Dr. Daniel Cederkrantz. He is an expert in thermal conductivity with a focus on transient methods. He is a graduate in Engineering Chemistry with Applied Physics and a Ph.D. in Material Science from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. In 2018, Dr. Cederkrantz transitioned from the CSO at Hot Disk AB to the CEO of Thermtest Europe AB.

Thermtest is a global business that has been advancing the measurement of thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat for more than a decade, with more than 2000 satisfied customers worldwide. The company is in New Brunswick, Canada with hubs located in Europe and Latin America.
